Covid-19-updates

This video will give you an idea of our current check-in and appointment process when you come to see us!

Our office has always followed infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We have also decided to go above and beyond the covid- 19 guidelines by implementing the following items to keep you and our staff safe:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions (see the list below).

  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office and we will be taking your temperature.

  • We require a mask for all who enter the office and ask that you please minimize guests that do not have a scheduled appointment.

  • Our waiting areas will no longer be available with toys or video games since those items are difficult to keep clean and disinfect. We encourage you to bring your own if needed. We will have new movies to watch!

  • Please dress warmly or bring a blanket as we will be keeping our office temperature lower to help our staff wearing extra protective clothing be more comfortable.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and reduce the number of patients in one area at a time. We will also do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you.

  • We have added social distancing barriers between chairs, air filtration systems (UV-C and HEPA), digitized forms, and extra cleaning of surfaces.

  • We have Aerosol VacStations to use at the chairside to remove aerosols and up to 99.97% of all airborne particulates and pathogens decreasing the spread of infections and diseases.

  • Our staff is health screened daily and have been trained on additional COVID-19 safety measures to ensure their safety and yours.

Thank you for choosing Adventure Dental. We value your trust and loyalty and always want to leave you smiling, even if it is under a mask!
