Dr. Justin Heaton
Dr. Justin Heaton is from Idaho Falls, ID. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho.
As a dental student, He often met adults afraid of the dentist. It almost always stemmed from a bad dental experience they had as a child. He wanted to become a pediatric dentist to help kids have a good dentist experience and be excited, not afraid of us.
While there, he met his wife Stacey who grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Justin attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. While in dental school, he joined the US Air Force.
While in the Air Force, he completed a one-year residency at Biloxi Air Force Base in Mississippi.
Dr. Justin and his family were then stationed in Okinawa, Japan for two years and absolutely loved their time there. He completed his pediatric training at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, and is board eligible.
Dr. Justin has been able to make three humanitarian trips, one before dental school and two during dental school. He went to the Dominican Republic once and Guatemala twice and helped the underserved receive the dental care they needed. It was a wonderful experience, and He would love to do something like that again!
He is an active member of the AAPD. Dr. Heaton Justin and his family enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, traveling, exploring new parts of the world, and everything Disney.
Dr Justin recently attended the annual pediatric dental conference in San Diego and took courses to better his skills as a dentist and business owner.
